AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1797) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 22, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 12/22/2005 4:27:55 PM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good evening!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

TWU Local 100 agreed to go back to work in New York, ending the illegal transit strike there. Two million dollars worth of fines, pending appeal to a New York State Appellate Court, has been levied against the union local, and Gov. Pataki has said they will not be waived. No change in the negotiating position of either the union local or the City of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has occurred, and there exists the possibility of another walkout.

Saddam at his trial indicated the United States is "the number one liar in the world." The trial has been adjourned until January 24, 2006. In other words, so far, there have been four or five court days and weeks upon weeks of nothing.

And President Bush stated "it's been a good year for the American people."

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Caue, the Chairman.

Tell me if I've got this right about the current status of the Patriot Act........since the House voted for a 1-month extension yesterday and the Senate voted for a 6-month extension and then went home, there must be a reconciliation between the 2 for the Patriot Act to remain in force, but it is against the rules for such action to take place because the Senate has already stopped meeting.

So my question is what is going to happen to the Patriot Act come Dec. 31 w/no resolution? Looks to me like both houses will HAVE TO cut their Christmas vacation short...tough LOL...in order to provide protection for this country. Is this the corrct "take"?

It still hasn't quite computed with me how it is the Rat party moved SO far left.

I will compute it for you. They have ALWAYS been that far left. They have just been faking any inkling to the right out of desperation to do ANYTHING to get votes. Easy calculation. I didn't even have to get out my calculus book and use differential equations, Bessel Functions, Legendre Polynomials, not to mention Conformal Mapping in the Complex Plane, to do it! LOL! :))

Oh, my. Waaay over my head. LOL

Upon reflection, you're probably right. Since they could never permit themselves to be called liberal, they had something to hide and I think what that was they were hiding was their deep distrust of the government (when run by Republicans) and absolute hatred of the country.

Yes, Peach, they have always had, and WILL always have, their deep hatred of freedom....people being FREE....to hide. ALWAYS!

I was wondering about the resolution on the Patriot Act too. Can someone answer for us?

Where is Toby? Has someone called him? How can I start my day without his morning message from Mississippi?

We have had lots of rain for the past few days - but no icy weather and that is fine with me!

MERRY CHRISTMAS DEAR FRIENDS! You all mean so much to me - your prayers and friendship have sustained me through very difficult times....I love you all!

I am so disgusted with the Senate right now that I can't make a decent judgement about any of them.

I'm disgruntaled, too. Obviously.

I don't necessarily think Lott would have done a better job, either. But I've heard enough stories about his ruthlessness, I have to think those who got off the reservation would have been demoted. That usually shapes them up in a hurry.

Ethicswise, I think Frist is head and shoulders above Lott. But he doesn't seem to be able to make things happen.

I'm headed back to the kitchen shortly to start the Krispie Treat Tree.

Snow is pretty, and the freezing rain has now put a glaze on it.

Reminds me of a bundt cake.

Good luck with the cat.

Reminds me of a bundt cake.

LOL. I'd never thought of it that way.

The freezing rain hasn't reached here yet. We have until evening, I think. I've got one more trip to the store, so I'd better check the weather map so I can plan accordingly.

GOOD A.M. TO YOU HONORABLE CHAIRMAN AND TO YOUR FAMILY, AND ALL YOU OTHER FOLKS OUT IN THIS VAST FREEPER TERRORITY. USA FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN.

Hope you been watching Shep from fox on the Mississippi coast, he is standing in just a very small area of the coast, it is like this for 70 miles, nothing. BUT, never fear 'the coast will rise again', Seems I have heard this somewhere, oh, the SOUTH, oh well, means the same. we will pull ourselves by the boot straps.

CASINO opens in Biloxi with two move opening by the first of the year, the rest will open by mid summer of o6. Gonna tell you a secret, those casinos make a big profit. Sure, they cause problems with the addicted gambler but it also gives us relaxation and talking about food, they have the best. With some of us, my wife was the example, you can win, you take SOME of these winnings and play on that. She stayed ahead of them as a constant winner, even won a Mercedes in a drawing. I told her once why she just didn't sell the stove cause we ate a often at the casinos.

I am a old grumpy today, D wouldn't let me go shopping with her this morning, can you believe that?

House prices are sky rocketing here. a price tag of 250,000 on a house pre hurricane has jumped to 400,000, 500,00 and yes they are being sold.

Secrets, tell a phone, tell a congressman, what is the difference. They leak everything and even have secret letters they wrote 2 years ago and goodness me, they looked in the back of a drawer ta daaa, there it was. They actually believe all will accept the lie.

Want to name McLimps cabinet? give it a try.., I want to see if you agree with me, post them to us.

Just keep the residents of the coast in you prayers, we have big problems here and need all the help we can get. There will be folks having their Christmas in tents.

Have a good day and during this time of the year, tell your spouse how much they love them, even it they leave to towel on the bathroom floor.
