I wish I could make the same claim.
I have a couple more pans of rolls to pop in the oven as soon as they appear to be ready (still raising), one gift to wrap and 2 dozen eggs to devil.
It is reasonable to think I can be finished by 10:00 and have the clean up completed.
I may fill the socks tonite just to get it out of the way. Tomorrow I will set the tables. There will be 16 here 15 here.
Sit down and have a martini. I thought like you did, had company drop in, made more gravy, cut the steaks up, added more cream to the mashed potatoes, and another hnad full fo lettuce to the salad. Then after they left, I still ahve 4 gifts to wrap, had two martinis and an egg nog. Well, I'm here, lurking and taling...to heck with the rest, when i'm finished here, I'm off to bed, my head is a little light.
