Actually, decongestant cough medicines have another use - enhancing fertility in men! A co-worker and his wife tried to have kids, and finally they went for tests. Turns out his semen never liquified after ...er... being deposited, so the sperm never traveled anywhere. The doctor recommended a few doses of cough medicine. Bingo!(This was several years ago, so maybe the ingrediants have changed.)
