I will not answer the phone when there are two shows on television. "24" and "Dancing with the Stars". I've learned to let it ring :-)

We don't answer at night. I have one friend who just loves to call and 'chat' after dinner while her DH is watching the evening talk shows (she is bored by politics) so I just let the answer machine pick up.
We actually take our phone off the hook for "24" (and for the Sopranos). Even a ringing phone (and then the answering machine clicking on upstairs) is too much of a distraction...
When is that "Dancing with the Stars" show on? I saw the first one on a Thursday night, then a shorter version of the show the following evening. Is it every Thursday night, or Thursdays and Fridays?
You going to get hooked on the skating show? It reminds me of an SNL skit with Mark Hamill falling on his behind again and again and again trying to skate. At least I think it was Mark Hamill. It was funny in any case.
My whole family watches skating now just to say "Oh, he fell on his bum again."
