According to today's IMDB.Com News, Kim Basinger will be joining the cast next season. While making "The Sentinel" with Sutherland, she expressed what a fan she was of the show, and he hooked her up.

Don't trust ANYTHING from IMDB. A lot of the information is bogus. Remember, anyone can contribute to that site and there are people who intentionally provide false information as a joke.
Some examples of bogus information from IMDB:
Carlos Bernard was listed until episode 5.22.
Kim was supposed to return in 5.09 or 5.10.
A "John Bauer" was supposed to appear in 5.16.
