So what's so big about getting into the top 12 again? Do they get hair, clothes and makeup? Do they sing their own songs? What changes??

Do they sing their own songs?
No, but they get to work with AI's vocal coaches, who assist with song selection and rehearsals. They also go on the summer AI tour, where they officially become minor celebrities for life.

Big stage, one eliminated per week and all of them have Idol contracts (Idol's option).
Basically they all have a job.
