Well, evidently you can't. There were .4 seconds left, not .2. Maybe in a few years, it'll be "3 passes and a shot from half-court with no time left on the clock!" At least get your conspiracy straight. So you think someone from the NBA called the clock operator and told him to give the Lakers extra time? Geeez.
Don't forget the official NFL snipers who kept taking leg shots on the Seattle linemen.

Too much truth, the crybabies will choke on it.
Isn't it funny, that after 2 weeks of Steeler pre-Coronation in their "2nd hometown" that all the calls went their way?
LOL Do you think they care what some Seahawk fans think?

Roethlisberger admits: 'I don't think I got in'
"I told Coach, 'I don't think I got in,'" Roethlisberger told Letterman. "But we were getting ready to go for it on fourth down anyway, and I would have run it again. So we would have found a way to get in."
OK does that settle it. The guy carrying the damn ball said he didn't get in....
You are too funny!
I've watched the Packers get calls for years. I'm used to seeing calls that I can't believe. :)
And I think Seattle got a very raw deal in the Super Bowl. But there are too many things that can happen in a football game, with large men smashing into each other, for me to think the outcome is predetermined. JMO.
If it was JUST Seahog fans you'd have a point.
But it's everyone who isn't a Steeler fan.
It's Jim Rome, it's ESPN, it's talk shows across the nation...
Face it!

That's not what he said.
He said that at the time, he didn't think he had gotten in. That's not the same as saying he didn't get in. He's talking about what he thought at the time had happened, not what actually happened.
It all goes back to the Tuck Rule. If that isn't called, the Raiders defeat NE, then Brady becomes just another face in the crowd, and the Raiders win the next 2 SBs.
See, the Refs didn't want the Raiders to win because the NFL is still PO'd at Al Davis. No point in playing the game, the fix is always in.

Every close call did NOT go against Seattle. I'll be happy to name several if you need me to.
As for refs making sure Pittsburgh won and covered, it's ludicrous. For all they knew, Pitt could have come out and played a horrible game, Seattle could have played a great game and it could have been a Seahawk blowout that no amount of "bad" reffing could fix. I think you've been reading too many Dan Moldea books.
Jim Rome : sports :: James Carville : politics
Loud and ignorant and full of beans
This is more fun than the DummieFunnies.
I'm patenting:

I have a feeling it's gonna be on some T-shirts.
You know if you keep posting proof positive, you are going to really upset some people.
It is like the idiot who said that Hasslback got a 1st down when he slid feet first (thus the ball was down at its position when the slide started). Damnfool didn't even know the QB slide rule.
And I keep asking about the clip NOT called when they clearly smacked Big Ben in the back on the early int/runback.
I get crickets.
Oooooh, there's another one!
I know.
It's funny.
But eventually someone will take me up on it.
And then it'll be back to crickets.
