We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
China has now surpassed Britain as the world's fourth largest economy.
That comes at a price--pollution. According to the Chinese Government's own numbers, there are only 53 "blue sky" days a year in Beijing. The Government had set a target of 230 days a year by the 2008 Olympics.
The Danube River in Europe has reached record flood levels, brought on by the melting of something you may not have heard about in all the global warming screaming--a particularly harsh Balkan winter.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
I'm getting up early the next couple of days so the 4 AM start on Wednesday, when we have to get kids over to the school for their trip, won't be so bad.
Welcome !!!
Good Morning.
Good morning!
I can remember everything that has happened to me. What day it was on, what was happening in the world, who was in my life at the time, and usually what the weather was like. I am very affected by the weather, so it is always something I remember. If you were to tell me the day you were married or the day your child was born (in the last 30 years) I could tell you what day it was, what I was doing, etc.- AJ - A woman who has perfect memory
If she remembers all the things the Dem's have said - she must be a 'Pub.

Nice to see you here w/the Dawn Patrol, Chairman! The Raven is usually the Waker-Upper w/his bugle calls. IG and I usually mozy in then. So where are the other regulars?
For some reason - I just had to log into FR.
That is a really fascinating article. I have a good memory, but certainly nothing like that! I look forward to reading the result of the study.
NC Piedmont weather report: 65 degrees now...80 predicted high...thunderstorms.
...you can check out any time you want but you can never leave.
Our temps are going to be in the 60's this week. Last week's 80 degree temps rushed my Magnolia tree into peaking on Friday and by yesterday the petals had already begun to fall. It looks like pink snow on the driveway.
Your magnolia tree must have been beautiful. What a shame that the blossoms lasted such a short time.
I got the soil ready Saturday to plant my tomatoes today, but now....don't know what to do w/the promised storm coming and the drop in temperature.
'Guess I can wait until Tuesday, and if I don't overdo I'll still be able to stay awake for American Idol that night. LOL
I'm just pleased as punch that Mrs. Chairman and I will be able to enjoy our "just the two of us" vacation from Wednesday to Sunday with perfect weather forecast!
You and Mrs. Chairman deserve it! And the wonderful weather is cooperating too.
Good morning.
How did daughter like Wm and Mary?
Maybe if I have another cup of coffee to stretch out the time, I can avoid the stove. LOL
She liked the campus and programs, but thought it might be just a bit of a reach for her academically.
Personally, I think she could do it, but she's afraid she "wouldn't have a life." Even though she's only 16, one thing she has going for her is she is VERY good at managing her life and is VERY responsible. So I tend to listen to her when she says things like that.
That said, her leading choice--Mary Washington University--is a little (key word here is little) less challenging. But it's my opinion that may be a wash in the end as if you can enjoy your time at the school, you will be more motivated to get all you can out of the education.
I think I typed to fast. I was logged on.....to FR.....then went surfing the web for a bit....and when I came back to FR ----I was logged off (after I checked my company email...wonder if those IT nerds are monitoring my home computer)
