Yea, seriously. Trekkies are some of the weirdest people I have ever met, no offense to any here.

I like to watch the shows occasionally but I don't dress up like Spock or anything.

The expendable security guards in red shirts on 24 crack me up. On the original Star Trek if a red shirted security guard beamed down to a planet with Kirk and Spock he was going to die every time.

It's the same way with the unknown CTU agent that goes somewhere with Jack. If you don't know his name, he's toast. LOL

The next story I'm going to do will be a CTU action one but that is at least 2-3 months away. I have to finish this one first.

Yes, there are only two chapters right now. I will update it every 3-5 days depending on how much I am able to write. I've actually written up to Chapter 14 but I want to keep enough material in reserve should something happen and I can't work on it for a while.

If I follow the outline I currently have, the story will contain 30-35 chapters. Obviously I am going to break with the 24 timeline. As of right now, I will not go along with the ending of Season 4 and therefore the events of 5.1 will not occur.

I also will use this story to spin off another one about different characters. But that one is going to be a secret right now. Hehehe...

I just got to see my taped season finale today.

Wow.

It was a great season, though I must say ending the season with something bad happening to Jack is really getting old.

For crying out loud, END THE SEASON with a good resolution. I feel like every season is some cliffhanger that I can't get over. Now I will be going nuts wanting to know what happened until the next season.

It is getting tired ending the season with yet more horror. It is tough enough not losing my mind with the suspense from week to week, let alone season to season.

But, it is a good show, and despite my love-hate relationship with 24, I am sure I will keep watching, perhaps losing my sanity in the process.

That's why I like Season 2 the best. It ended on a mostly positive note except for Palmer.

The rest of the seasons were always bad.

Season 1- Teri dies.

Season 3- Tony is taken away for treason

Season 4- Jack "dies".

Season 5- Chicoms kidnap Jack. (Hell, all of S5 was dark and negative from the start of 5.1.)

Great news on Fox's 24 website. Starting Friday June 16th, Fox will be reairing the entire 5th season, two episode per week. I think that's a great idea, especially given that it's easy to forget the early episodes. They could also bring in some new fans that way. YAY!!!
