The Washington Pravda is running a piece today that indicates President Bush not only favors putting through a guest worker program, but actually supports the notion of granting citizenship to the illegals that have been here awhile.
As ConocoPhillips reports record profits (probably because they also put record dollars at risk, but the media won't tell you that...), crude falls to below $72/bbl.
Meanwhile, Bee county, TX, has passed a resolution telling motorists they should boycott Exxon stations until the company agrees to post gasoline at $1.30/gal.
And, quietly (because then the media would have to admit the President's economic policies are actually working), the DJIA has hit a six-year high.

There's a solution to the gas problem. Socialize it. Remember the Soviet Union? Did they have long gas lines? No !. Did they have high gas prices? No. Did they have complaining people? No.
Why?
Easy. Becasue they didn't have any cars. We can start the downward spiral right now, instead of waiting for "legs" to be Prez. Bush can regain popularity with a stroke of the pen. Free health care. Free education. Euro-like 6 weeks vacation. Work-free child rearing years if you don't opt for abortion. A living wage. All funded by the rich and eliminating the military.

I've noticed that as Tony Snow's bio is discussed NOBODY has said he's been a FReeper. Could it be that the MSM doesn't know? Or have they decided not to give us the FRee publicity?
Maybe Tony knows he going to get some heat from the libs and he doesn't want FreeRepublic in on the feeding frenzy.

I'm sorry about your headache. I hope the meds are helping your other condition? Drop by when you can.... we'll keep a good thought for you.
My goodness. I hope you can get that migrane under control, and get a different Rx that doesn't trigger the headaches.
Pull the blinds, crawl back in bed and pull the covers over your head.

The Bleeding Heart continues to bloom. It has a few damaged leaves at the top, but it will be okay.
One year it was frosted off to the ground. So a few nipped leaves is not hard to accept.
Good Morning Everyone. It is beautiful here today. I'm getting ready to paint the panels on my garden. They will be the same color as the house except I'm painging flowers on it.
Roomey had the tv on as I entered wake time and the first thing I heard was something about the sexiest woman in the world, I didn't catch her name, but she was a skinny little thing, then I heard something about the price of gasoline, then I jumped up, i couldn't take all that important news anymore, and came here.
Mozie, you'd best call your Dr and tell him about the medication he recommended. There's no reason to put up with a migrane. He'll change the med. Take care sweetie.
