I agree with you about the club dilemma. I don't know how you keep so many great players happy. There's no way any coach can satiate all those egos on the bench. It's just not possible.
One thing you can always count on is that the newest big money pickup will be seeing action. So someone else is going to have to surrender minutes.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with Lampard and those guys. You know Sheva is going to start and Crespo may go back to Italy. Other than that, it's pretty murky.
I use to joke that Chelsea was the finest group of mercenaries on the pitch when they had only one English player. But now it's really crazy. It's an international all-star team.
I think Chelsea have locked themselves into a very expensive way of running a football club although of course they can afford it. Any young upcoming player would be mad to go there now.
Also, if Chelsea buy Roberto Carlos, then I truly think Mourinho has lost the plot. Their full backs could do with upgrading, but Roberto Carlos is not the solution.
