Authorities are looking for 41-year-old Jimmie Lee Weston who is wanted in connection with the sodomy and attempted rape of a 13-year-old girl, Mobile police said today.
Weston is accused of sodomizing and attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl he knew, said Officer Eric Gallichant, a police spokesman. Weston is charged with second-degree attempted rape and second-degree sodomy in connection with the Sunday incident, police said. Under Alabama law, second-degree attempted rape is a Class C felony, punishable by up to 10 years in jail, and second-degree sodomy is a Class B felony, punishable by two to 20 years.
Weston is described as 5-feet-8-inches and weighs 329 pounds, police said. He is known to carry at least one pistol and drives a yellow 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass S with the tag number 2B1357W, police said.
Weston's last known address is 675 Palm St. in Crichton, Gallichant said. Anyone with any information about Westons whereabouts is asked to contact Mobile police at 208-7211.
