I am not even going to tell you exactly what I am thinking because it is way out there and dark, but I will give you a few hints:

Karr also likes Marilyn Manson but I don't know if Manson was around in 1996. Manson likes to wear things that make him look freaky.

Now Karr is known to tell at least one person he is like a wolf.

JonBenet had marks on her that looked like they came froma stun/laser gun.

so Marilyn Manson was around by 1996...

Portrait of an American Family was the first album by Marilyn Manson, released in 1994.

Manson has said that he originally wanted to use a nude photograph of himself as a child as artwork for the album jacket, but the label quicky rejected the idea on the grounds that it would constitute child pornography. Manson pointed out that the photograph was completely innocent, as it was taken by his own mother, and that any sexual context perceived would completely be rooted in the mind of the beholder. The label's reaction, ironically, served to perfectly illustrate the point that Manson had wanted to make by using the image.
