You'd think they'd do that for anyone charged with a sex crime - particularly one involving minors.
I'm not clear at all what the child porn charges actually involved. They found images on his computer - that's all I know. Were they his - IOW, did he do the porn that's on them? Were they gathered in the course of his "project"?
Someone here said that he sent them to the school district where he worked as some kind of "kiss off" statement, but I sure haven't seen anything like that reported. I was told I was wrong when I said Hutchens turned him in when she taped things and kept track of emails. Just so odd that he was arrested right after she did that.
I ask that because I've followed this case for many years and I've never seen anything like that (porn or child porn) even without a filter, but have heard of others accidentally clicking on a web link and getting into some nasty stuff.
There was an admitted pedophile who posted on one of the JonBenet forums regularly for a long time (ick) and was in one of the Central American countries near where JMK traveled and lived for a couple of years.
He was the first one I thought of when Karr surfaced. I feel certain they probably hooked up somewhere, somehow, but I don't know how far back. Going by Hutchens' timeline of March 2001, that certainly sounds in the realm of possibility.
