Interesting list!
But, how the hell could "Bark at the Moon" not make it? (Yes, I know Bark wasn't R.R., but rather Jake E Lee) Nevertheless, the guitar playing on that song is a 400 series course study on rock guitar. The two solos are just friggin' jaw dropping and the rhythm line has EVERYTHING a rock song should have.
Also, Dio's (Vivian Campbell on guitar) "Rainbow in the Dark"...back in my "playing days", the only guitar solo I was unable to reproduce.
Black Sabbath - "Lonely is the Word", "Fairies Wear Boots", "War Pigs", etc...
Little River Band - "Its a Long Way There"
Jimmy Hendrix - Multiple...
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Multiple...
Led Zeppelin - "Kashmir", "Stairway to Heaven", etc...
Among others I can't think of off the top of my head...
Highway Star at #13? Are you crazy??
No Stevie Ray Vaughan? Either "Texas Flood" or "Things I Used To Do" (which are actually pretty much the same song, come to think of it) should be on this list.
And personally I think "Free Bird" should be #1, but I'm a Southern boy, so I'm biased.

I liked that Pride & Glory solo album... now there is some gritty Southern Fried Rock...
1)Hendrix-Watchtower
2)Clapton-Layla
3)Jones/Richard-It's All Over Now
No mention either of Lindsey Buckingham, whos acoustic on the live version of "Bleed to Love Her" is jaw dropping.
Not a serious list either. Steve Howe is missing. Ever hear "Relayer"? Incredible.
This was a poll result, and Robben Ford is pretty low on the radar screen.
"Tales From Topographic Oceans". Steve Howe is da man.
I just saw him in a solo show at a small club. Wow.
Of the 3 really prog rock albums they did, I would have to rate them:
1)Close to The Edge
2)Relayer
3)Tales From Topographic Oceans
If they had cut out about a side of material from Tales, I think that would bump it up a slot.
Most of this stuff no one else would even think about trying. You never hear about alot of "covers" of Yes material.
I saw them in 73 right after Fragile came out. Years ahead of their time.
I had heard of Yes but had never heard them until I stumbled on their albums at my cousin's house. I thought it was pretty funny that a 14 year old Dominican boy was listening to Fragile while all his friends were into merengue and salsa.
Any guitar list not including Lindsey Buckingham is lame.
Statesboro Blues? One Way Out?
Duane Allman started an entire Rock & Roll genre - yet no mention. Very wrong.
Duane Allman played the bottleneck slide on Layla...
Peter Framptons' 14:15 min version of "Do you feel like we do" on the 'Alive' album deserves, at least, an Honorable Mention!
He had those strings talkin' on that one......

Duane and Dickie trading riffs on "You Don't Love Me" (from their Fillmore East album) is electric guitar heaven.
