I'm 17 and live in a blue state (unfortunately). I first started getting into politics because of my uncle. He's a die hard Republican and posts on FR as "gay state conservative." After a while everything about the liberals started p*ssing me off: hate crime laws, anti-death penalty, catering to convicts and illegal aliens, wasting tax money, MSM bias, political correctness, hatred of the white straight Christian male, and the hippocracy of all the democrat politicians, especially a certain Massachusetts senator (I'll give you a hint, his blood alcohol content is higher than his IQ). I now listen to Rush and Howie occasionally (except Rush is on while I'm at school), visit FR often, and once in a while like to spy on the enemy at DU.

"Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around - nobody big, I mean - except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff - I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I'd do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd really like to be. I know it's crazy."

- JD Salinger (The Catcher in the Rye) -

"The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one."

- Wilhelm Stekel -

"If you had a million years to do it in, you couldn't rub out even half the 'F*ck you' signs in the world. It's impossible."

- JD Salinger (The Catcher in the Rye) -

"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again, but already it was impossible to tell which was which."

- George Orwell (Animal Farm) -
