9 hours of cookies!!! I want some! LOL!

After we sang today at a nursing home, we went around and chatted with some of the residents, our audience...some old guy said to me, "Hey! You know what? You're kinda cute!" LOL!

Well I'll take my compliments wherever I find them.

OH, it says INTIMATE!!!

When I first saw it, I thought it said: 'Hillary Plans INMATE Evening in Iowa'...and I thought maybe a diligent U.S. Attorney actually followed up on all that Whitewater/Castle Grande/Cattle Futures data...Too bad...;-))

LOL! Well INMATE works too...for Hillary!

How're you, Bit? Have you been naughty or nice this year? My guess: the latter, so you can expect Santa's visit:-)

Naughty/Nice??? Aren't we supposed to throw off the yoke of all that judgemental right/wrong business??? (hehehe)

Actually, I will not be very sorry to see 2006 put officially to bed in the record books. Not the best of years for me, but I am ever the optimist -- the glass is always half-full, tho it may be cracked and leaking...;-))

Hi, Molly! Sorry I have been gone all day.

I took my sister for her post-surgery check-up to the doctor's office, then we went for lunch.

I had to pick up my glasses today (yay...I can see) and have finished the Christmas cards. They are ready to go.

I also took advantage of the nice weather to sweep the walks and driveway.

Off to check the news...

Hello, Bitwhacker-who-I-have-missed-dearly .... where's Neets and why won't anybody tell me what happened?!!!! I am not sure I want to be someplace she's not welcome. Is this a ka-boom, I just did?? ... I am only confused and wanting to know ....

Back to the here and now .... Bit .... I moved to a place where .... right up my street ... you can buy bait ... get a tattoo ... a taco and cowboy hat ... get your eyes examined and your tags renewed while buying a purple prom dress ... go to church, get some yogurt ... and fried rice ... before lunch ... Har!

I love it so ...

It's so temptting to wish times away and be happy they are gone ... but like it or not ... those very times are the bridges which let us cross over ... begin anew ... start over .... try again ...try harder ... believe more ... put our damned head down and bull our way through ... again ... and maybe again ... again ... never expecting anything different until you allow yourself to see the six year old standing in his brother's size 12 shoes scooching the snow off the stoop because it's more fun than a shovel .... life .... human hopeful life ...

Have finally caught up with
atrw.

(((Peach))) Always prayers and keep us up-to-date.

lysie - incredible tales of MIL and cousins. Many thoughts come to mind but sometimes think you just do too much and aren't nasty enough.

Hope to post tomorrow/

I really am happy I have finished baking!!!! I make chocolate chip cookies and a special cookie recipe that our family loves. I soak dates in brandy and make oatmeal/date cookies using real butter, not margerine. They probably aren't "heart healthy" but I get few complaints.

Perhaps you could start cooking at the Heart Attack Cafe. I saw them interviewed sometime this overnight on FNC. 2# Hamburgers, Beer and Cigar place.

It sounds like those cookies would fit right in.

Life is just real-damn-good right now.

Thought I would share.... It's not even 2 am and I'm getting ready to relax for the evening/morning. And the best part is that I don't have to be in until 10:30 or so....

Christmas party tonight. Lots of yawning folks.... we're working our @$$es off....

I had a beautiful and accomplished friend attend the party with me. We looked nice, and had a great time. (She was awesome). I even wore my teeth ;>).

Good morning. Discussion on Fox is about Senator Johnson's possible resignation and a flip in the Senate.

Personally, I think the discussion of a possible resignation/replacement is premature, purely speculative and in bad taste.

They have the fellow disabled, and they know nothing about the purpose of the surgery he had late yesterday, or of the outcome.

I agree. However, it is interesting to see the media wringing their hands, indicating how much of a personal investment they have in democrats holding the Senate.

It is also interesting to note that Senator Reid rushed to the hospital last night.
