War Of Words Erupts Over Miss USA Controversy
NEW YORK -- The Miss USA partying episode has led to a war of words between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump. O'Donnell told her audience on ABC's "The View" Wednesday that Trump's news conference Tuesday with Miss USA Tara Conner had annoyed her "on a multitude of levels" and called him on his own personal misgivings.
"Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he's the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America," O'Donnell said, as the audience erupted in laughter. "Donald, sit and spin, my friend."
Trump, who is the co-owner of the pageant, fiercely responded to O'Donnell's comments in the New York Daily News.
"This woman is totally out of control," Trump told the Daily News. "I'm worth billions of dollars, and I have to listen to this fat slob?"
Trump also knocked O'Donnell's personal appearance on "The View" during her criticism of him.
"When I saw the tape, I said, 'You'd better be careful or I'll send one of my friends over to take your girlfriend!'" Trump told The News. "I imagine it would be pretty easy to take her girlfriend away, considering how Rosie looks."
Trump was also annoyed over O'Donnell calling him a "snake oil salesman" and claimed that he went bankrupt but "didn't have to pay."
"I never went bankrupt, but she said I went bankrupt. So probably I'll sue her because it would be fun," Trump told the syndicated television show "The Insider."
Trump also threatened to sue O'Donnell.
"I'd like to take some money out of her fat-ass pockets," Trump told the show.
Trump also said her talk show didn't get ratings and her magazine was a "total disaster."
She is ugly inside and out.
LOL!!!
What excuse does Rosie have for the pesonallity she has? It is beyond me how anyone could live in the same trailer park as her?
We all know there are mostly elements of the ridiculous in this 'feud.'
However, Trump is willing to play by Rosie's down-n-dirty rules and about time. Rosie loves to take the average celebrity's carefully-worded PR blurbs and ridicule the blurb and the celebrity for failing to come the point. Trump is sugarcoating nothing - he's making fun of Rosie's appearance, weight, lesbianism, and trophy-children faux parenthood - in short, he's covering all the bases that Rosie might retreat to and attempt to say "see, I'm not so bad." He's also making Rosie's co-workers and her bosses justifiably nervous by pointing out the anti-Midas touch that Rosie brings to any project.
If he gets any publicity I'm not bothered - he already saturates the airwaves with the willing help of NBC et al.
On a semi-related note, 'The View' is ostensibly created by women, for women. Why, then, are such shows always dominated/hijacked by loud, obnoxious, unfunny hacks? Can anyone not currently living in Manhattan envision living next to, or even near, a Rosie O'Donnell or Joy Behar? Politics/religion aside, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is as close to normal as one can get on network TV, yet she is ridiculed on-air and in print for being normal.
"It gets no better then that."
How about a cage match? Trump would probably set it up.
Misdeeds
Also, I couldn't figure out where Rosie got the order of things on Trump's wives ... left 1st wife, had an affair.
What's wrong with that? When you're single, you have affairs.
I believe she meant the truth. Had an affair, left 1st wife. Married again. Had an affair, left 2nd wife. That's more like it.
I'm still trying to guess why he is suing. Defamation? Slander?
That is extremely difficult when the subject is "celebrity gossip".
Surely he knows this, which makes me think that it's all an act and they're not really mad at each other.
"Elisabeth Hasselbeck is as close to normal as one can get on network TV, yet she is ridiculed on-air and in print for being normal."
She is also a conservative.
First off, none of you heard Rosie put it into context so allow me:
Ching chang, ching chang chang, ching chang, combover, change, bankrupt, moral compass, chang chang ching.
Omarosie!
Okay... they married for "the lifestyle". (Ie. money.)
Same with Rush Limbaugh... Rich guys cannot find real love in this world.
Fox News did an interview with Jennifer Murphy, a former Miss Oregon that was fired by Trump midway through one of the past "Apprentice" seasons.
What she had to say was irrelevant (and dull) but she sure is a looker.
For those who don't remember, she was fired as a foursome with three other teammates for posting a loss of money on a particular project.
Truth is, Rosie resents that pretty blondes get all the attention and not chubby humorless lesbo brunettes. She sees Trump as an enabler to everything she thinks is wrong with society.
Careful, Trump. I hear her bodyguards carry weapons.
I'm not sure, because I've only seen the clips, but I *think* he's talking about Rosie calling Miss USA a crack addict.
The Miss Universe Pageants Inc, or whatever he and his partner call themselves, fired Miss Nevada USA today for some porn-type photos. Trump's partner did the announcing, so The Donald evidently only handles certain "pet projects," such as a reigning Miss USA.
This afternoon, one of the tab TV shows had on a former Miss USA, Shanna Moakler, commenting on it. LOL, I don't recall what she said, I have just been transfixed by looking into her dead, dead eyes ever since I first saw her on Dancing with the Stars. There is no one home there. No one. Not one living thing.
Here is a fun interview with Trump on the phone.

Rumor has it that donnieboy is hot for The Rose and is trying to woo her to leave her (ahem) companion and come live with him as an assistant! Rumor 2 is that they will air a cohabitation reality program that will stun viewers. Donnie takes off his hair and The Rose gets slinky in a bikini!!!! Sure to be a best seller if those rumors are true......
Matt Drudge threatened to sue Bill O'Reilly for the same thing, after Bill joked about Matt doing crack on Don Imus' show.
What's crazy is that O'Reilly complains vehemently that you can say anything about a celebrity and get away with it. Slander doesn't apply, somehow... But Bill did it himself to Matt Drudge!
So what are they going to call this newest media couple? Drosie?
If his claim is mainly motivated by personal grudges, then he won't have a prayer. His tough-talking speech completely screwed up his chances (in my layman's understanding of law).
she has no cheekbones.
