People can get so crazy when they’re having trailer loading troubles, and I’ll have to admit that I’ve almost gone over the edge myself a time or two. I don’t think there’s much that’s more aggravating than having a horse that won’t load, expecially at a busy location with lots of people watching. And you usually have at least a half a dozen “helpers” and that just makes things worse. You feel the need to make things happen or you’ll be judged as a bad horseman, and you usually end up doing things that you really know better than to do, and wouldn’t ordinarily do, and then you regret it later. It’s just a bad deal all around, for both horse and rider. I feel for them, no matter how stupid they are. People really shouldn’t take a poor loader anyplace until they get them over that problem.
Jake will be glad to hear that! LOL.
It is really hot and humid here also. We had rain yesterday, but not enough to do much. I did mow the yard today, because it was getting weedy. The pasture is about gone too. All that work last year, with seeding. We have been letting the horses out, at least for the exercise. This is much better than the wash out last year, so I am not complaining.
