Actually, I won't mind handing him back to his little girl. Puppies take a lot of management! His great feature is he is pretty content to be in his little playpen in the living room. He doesn't whine and cry in there, he entertains himself pretty well.

... and he hasn't messed in there but once, and he was having some digestive upset that day, so he wasn't feeling good. But he can't just be left in there, I have to take him out to run and potty a couple times an hour, or put him on his tether outside for awhile. Right now he's on a rug on my desk with me, for as long as he can be a calm quite puppy. If he squirms and tries to lick my ears... he goes back in the pen!

He can't be loose in the house, or he collects and chews underwear and socks. ;~\ Not to mention sneaking off to find places to potty.

So it's been fun... but I won't be holding him back when they return from their trip :~D
