That, in itself, is not bad--it's pure capitalism. It's the method of implementation of that desire that gets people so upset.
lol, maybe!
Of course, it doesn't.
There are a handful of NUTS
who posture and pose
that Gates is evil
and the media giggles
and plays up the nuts
just like it plays up
the "George Bush is evil" nuts
(and the way it will
play up the people
saying Hillary's evil).
The majority--
VAST majority--
of computers users use
Microsoft gladly.
The Bill Gates haters
are a tiny, in-bred group
that happens to fit
the media's needs
of portraying EVERYTHING
as dialectic.
But Freepers shouldn't
get suckered in by that stuff.
That's for mainstream types.
While I use Linux due to personal choice and preference (I have no personal animosity towards software), I can see why people get upset over MS' business practices.
Very well said. Then they wonder why we look at them funny when they start foaming at the mouth about how evil Microsoft is, while giving the hackers actually responsible for viruses a free pass. As you said it's somewhat similar to how others want to call Bush evil but give the terrorists a pass. You'd think with their liberal mentality they'd understand who the actual victims are, but in their thinking the President and the richest man in the world couldn't possibly even qualify as a potential victim. Under any circumstance, probably, they're just big rich people that need to be torn down.
Don't sweat it. The guy made almost the EXACT same post to me a while back. It's probably nothing personal.
