Your book, “Right Angles and Other Obstinate Truths,” looks interesting. It certainly received good reviews. Is it still available?
Right it does hold what you are not watching in the cache
I think you are understanding it...
There is a cache (temporary holding spot on the HD) and then there is a permanent area on the hard drive for what you set it to record.
The cache gets wiped out if you change the channel or tuen it off and the cache normally only holds about 1 1/2 hours back if you leave it on the same channel.
With mine...if I decide half way through Greta that I want to record the whole show...I just hit record, I can keep watching it, but the whole show is recorded. I don’t have to rewind back to record from the beginning..it has that in the cache.
I can record/watch two shows at a time. So, I can record Nancy Grace, but watch Greta...and be recording Greta too. But, I can’t do three. So, I can’t record Greta, Nancy Grace and then watch something else.
Cool, can you burn to dvd/cd if you need to?

They did, but since when the Bahamas have to do anything other than what HKS said they should do? Hell, since when did the American courts have to do anything HKS said to do.
There’s no logical reason for them NOT releasing the “preliminary results” of the DNA tests.

Of interest: It was just on either MSNBC or CTV (I was channel surfing) that something popped up that said DL’s name is Danielynn Hope Marshall Stern. Must be what’s on the birth certificate? (Smith may have been in there somewhere too, now that I look at it again,,lol)
Yes and no...
Regular TV shows yes can be burned to DVD with a DVD burner.
If you buy Pay Per View movies through the satellite and burn them on the DVR - they cannot be then be burned on DVD unless you have a crackable DVD recorder. But you can leave your PPV movies on DVR hard drive as long as like at this point.
If you get one get one that has the biggest hard drive. You can sign up for Dish Network and get a free 120+ hour DVR with a 1 year contract with them. (Dish Network has the best DVR the last time I checked)
yes you can do that to... but I wanted to point out to her that if you forget to hit pause you can rewind back and replay it.

MSNBC reporter says it couldn’t be any MORE obvious that NOTHING is going to be announced today, Larry isn’t even there. One would think, unless he’s been assured not, that he’d be there just in case...situation is so ‘fluid’.
But same reporter also said that Larry hadn’t planned to be there today, because today was only planned as a hearing even before HKS’s appeal charade and that is why DNA guy wasn’t planning to be there either.
So much for the gag order...that or everybody’s just GUESSING :)
Yes I have a DVD recorder that is “cracked” to burn anything I want.
The DVD recorder is no longer on the market because it could be cracked easily. I even bought a second one that is still in the box for when this first one dies.
You know how we’ll know....CTV will ignore everything going on in the Bahamas and sometime, oh, around 5pm when Crier comes on, she’ll ‘mention’ that there is no news.
You have a nice one... Mine is quite a few years old.
But when this one dies I will be getting another one with all the new whistles on it!
