Oh, ha ha - I’m back-reading and didn’t see your “reality show” comment until just now. Sorry ‘bout that!
In Howard's case, I'd say that the phone calls to Howard by KE and Ron Rales. Ron even said that Anna sounded good and that appears to be on Tuesday and Wednesday (maybe even Thursday?) You don't get suddenly well after a 105 temp and a body full of drugs.
If everyone tells the truth, we might get to the bottom of both deaths. (Of course, Howard and KE will have to tell matching lies.)

But Fred Willard and Martin Mull could be HKS and LB! Don’t think KE makes a very good John Ritter, however. Except for the “Regal Beagle” part.

I wonder, if he had known her name and said KE, what HKS would have done...I don’t recall if it was obvious where O’Quinn was going with his line of questioning...I don’t know where to find a transcript of the proceedings.
All in all, HKS was imo, purposefully ‘dead’ on the stand. His voice was monotone, there was little or no emotion in his face, he chose his answers slowly and carefully, knowing the judge would grow impatient and interrupt to ‘move on’, as he tap danced or was defiant with the judge. Even as a witness, HKS controlled the ‘show’.
Gosh, I haven’t worked a jigsaw puzzle in years. I’ve seen some that you can actually frame after putting it together, but until now, I’ve had cats who trampled over everything.
I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever had Godiva chocolates. I don’t believe I have. I love See’s, though. Their chocolate covered marshmallow/caramel squares are a years long favorite, as are their raspberry truffles.
Makes ya wonder what would’ve happened if Brigitte had never gotten curious - would HKS have stayed out on the boat even longer? LOL, what if nobody ever called him - what would he have done?

There was ABSOLUTELY no reason for Anna to go on that trip.
NO ONE could die at the Horizons. Howard didn't that "compound" and he wouldn't want it searched.
It is likely that Anna would have been released from the Bahama hospital the day that she did leave or within a day or two. In other words, if Danny came two days later, (which would have been for comfortable for all) would he have died at the Horizons??
So but for the want of a day, both would have died at the Horizons.
Who scheduled Danny's flight? Let me guess!!
So Hiawatha((hugs)) - why do you suppose HK$(Barth)is attempting to rapidly have the 2001 will probated in Florida? Because ANS died there? Or because the Broward probate courts are so flaky and can be easily appealed if they do not rule in HK$’ favor?

He had to submit Dannie Lynn for DNA.
He'll lose the Horizons shortly. AND
He hasn't gotten out of the inquest which remains his biggest problem.
In the meantime, who gets all Anna's possessions from the Horizon?? They DO NOT belong to Howard...that's for certain. Howard is going to have to submit a personal claim sooner or later. All her dresses, her jewelry??? Who has that stuff?? KE?? He'll claim "gift", gift", "gift". Will KE do the same?? I'm sure he's got a video stashed.....(Reminds one of the Marshall will video???)

Profound! The almost perfect murders - no gun - no bullets - no crime scene forensics - just very accurate drug dosing and timing. Would take a doctor to do the calculations - and as we know “Howie is no doctor”. It would take a killer to administer the doses - and as we know......well we don’t know...YET!

From what I understand “maintenance dose” can be a shifting level. Some people are maintained on 20mg and some are maintained on 100mg. Hospitals and clinics have more standard definitions but probably HKS and KE were just calling it “maintenance” depending on who they were talking to. Point being, there’s no “Standard” for what defines a maintenance dose outside a particular hospital or clinic’s own definition for themselves.
In any case, whenever ANS had to complete the detox, whether Sept or Oct or Feb. it would have been the last 20-30mg that step would have been the hardest for her to have come down from. So the short response to your question would be, “it probably wouldn’t have mattered much.”

They even have a recipe for how to do that last step over a 6 month period. They consider one month fast. They have several different scenarios so you can get an idea of how difficult it is to get someone off the stuff. They describe the last step as the hardest and the cravings and miserable anxieties, paranoias, rages are supposed to be supported by a number of environmental things in addition to medications that were probably not there for ANS. They list things like a strong desire to detox, group therapy and individual therapy (no again) and say that successful detox is majorly inhibited by a pre-existing depression.
I think ANS was a very very hard case to have detoxed, even if she had wanted to. And after Sept ‘06, after Daniel died, even at the risk of losing her baby to LB, I’m not sure she wanted to detox. Her use probably climbed. I think it was likely as an addict that she was just angry that LB’s threat to take DL was forcing HKS and KE to try to take her narcotics away. I think narcotics and other meds had become her only comforts after Daniel’s death.
I think HKS and KE had a real tiger by the tail.
No, it had to be that Howard called Mo (when he was nearing the dock) and said he couldn't get ahold of Taz and told Mo to call Taz...And no one has gotten the 9-11 story straight.
I think that's where the screwy stories about the phone problems came about.
Mo arrived and Brigitte split. Rescue arrived. Howard called KE. Howard grabbed Taz when he arrived and "prompted" her. Mo went with the body and said nothing. Howard met him at the hospital later and prompted him. It took 6 friggin' hours for the cops to get there and collect stuff??
And lo and behold, KE, who had just left for Ca with some urgency (her room became vacant a day earlier), flies in but she remains unseen and unnamed.
BTW, there have been corrupt MEs such as Dr. Ralph Erdman who was convicted in the 1990s of faking autopsies and knowingly giving false testimony and Dr. Sybers who killed his own wife, her death initially found to be from natural causes. I am not implying that Perper is corrupt. But he has demonstrated by his own words to be incompetent.

It certainly could have been, it wouldn’t have been sterile, it was only an oral suspension. I don’t know about the needles. I just can’t imagine even a desparate doctor or RN injecting a non-sterile oral solution into a person’s muscle. However, street addicts do this kind of dumb stuff themselves, but like you said, ANS was probably too out of it to even hit the bottle. Maybe HKS would have drawn it up (simple) and injected it (simple again). I think an MD or RN would have been really scared to inject a non-sterile oral suspension or solution into someone.
