I wonder if now that the results of the paternity are out perhaps LB can go back to that judge in California and get custody there and have it enforced throught the Hague Convention. I think he needs to get this out of the Bahamas.

Her Bahamian Attorney is actually leading her down the Bahamian path that the female in any family is the better caretaker — even if it is a grandmother... in the USA this wouldn’t even be at issue, in Bahamas Virgie is counting on their laws helping her get custody... which is why Larry is saying then maybe his parents need to file for custody, too... he has a mother who IS Dannielynn’s grandmother as well.. and from everything I’ve read has a good trackrecord f parenting that large brood of Larry’s brothers and sisters.

I don’t know. Poor guy has spent close to a million dollars already trying to get custody of his own child.

I don't understand why some of you are confused.

What's happening is Stern refuses to allow Arthur ANY legal status where it concerns Dannielynn. One of his fears are the civil suits to come if she gets it. It has nothing to do with "Anna's wishes" he hides behind as a smokescreen. Probate the will if he wants Anna's wishes considered. That's the ONLY legal outlet he has but it seems he's using it to barter with.

Birkhead can't deal with Stern to settle the estate if he compromises with Virgie which means Stern *could* tie things up in probate court indefinitely and Birkhead won't get Dannielynn's inheritance claims as soon as he might want to.

Virgie refuses to be cast aside this time around and wants a legal efficient on paper to secure her and Dannielynn's interests.

That's why Stern said no decision has come today and to draw your own conclusions. Agreed, I believe I just did. If he said anything more, he'd have to admit his role in throwing the wrench in.

It's not one person's fault or a fault to be defined. It describes their positions that you can draw agendas from, if any. If you find a fault in the agenda(s), so be it - but the agendas can be observed quite succinctly.

Yes, it is starting to look like it. He butts his nose into everything. I dont see how anything pertaining to ANS(her death, Daniel’s death, the $$$, The Bahamian house, and the most important part Dannielynn) will be sorted out fairly with him around. Just the fact that he left Anna in her condition tells me he did not care about her, nor did anyone of the others in that room, and witnessing ANS’s drug use during her pregnancy with Dannielynn tells me he didnt care much for the baby either IMO

I really dont know what is up with gramma, Larry seems like a nice guy and IMO he would probably want vergie to be a part of her life just like his parents.

there is a difference between a medical POA (ability to make medical decisions for someone who can’t make them themselves) and a financial POA

yes! i agree ! big difference ! (p.s., my sincere prayers for your strength and your father's health -it's not an easy role to assume that's for sure!)

This isn’t HKS causing the delay — I tell you it is Virgie... the handwriting was on the wall after Court on Tuesday when HER attorney said that Virgie was not giving up her bid for sole custody of Dannielynn....

If she is doing this, she has lost a supporter in me. Not that she cares I’m sure, but...

I agree with you. O’Quinn has talked her into going for joint custody for the money. As a grandma, I would be so happy to see LB get the baby away from HKS. Knowing LB, I know I could visit anytime. But she doesn’t seem to be satisfied with that.

As LB said, his mother and father, as grandparents, wouldn’t fight for joint custody, why should Virgie. I don’t like this.

My daughter’s husband died. His parents would have never ever thought of fighting my daughter for joint custody of my grandson. They visit each other when they can, and everyone is fine. We all have a wonderful relationship that benefits my grandson.

This would be equivalent to court kidnapping to not allow a parent who is fit to have custody!! He does need Opri and he needs her to get this in a US court. It took a Bahamian court to get the DNA test, now he needs an American court to order the release of his CHILD to him.

I just think that most of the people on here are older than me and see this through the eyes of grandmother. That’s fine if Virgie was a typical grandmother but she ain’t. Another thing that bothers me, it was Larry who spent the money and shed the tears these past months and here comes Virgie at the end piggybacking off him. Ridiculous.

If Virgie is pushing for custody, then he needs to get his Mama down there quick!

He didn’t look as happy as he usually does, though.

“I’ll bet I can guess.”

I’m guessing Larry thought he’d get custody today.

If that child was penniless I would make a wager that right now she would be on the way back to California with her father.

She was there earlier this week. Don’t know if she went back to KY or is still in Nassau.

it would also give her a cut of the money... I know I’m a broken record, and I’m sorry for that.. but, more and more I really believe this is why OQ is hanging in and why he is down there right now... $$$$$$
