In checking my morbidity/mortality tables it is pretty clear that Virgie may survive her husband, but will not outlive Larry. Has it ever occurred to the anti-Virgies that Dannielynn will likely be her only heir and Larry will probably be the trustee for those funds?
I am pretty sure that Virgie will cut DL out of her will, if HK$ remains in her life.

There are ways to ensure that DL can inherit. One being that her share, if any, is set up in a Howard-proof trust until a certain age. Hopefully he'll be in prison by then. Larry sounds like a stand up guy, and I certainly hope any animosity between Virgie and Larry is cleared up quickly.
My ex has custody of our 12 yr old, and if I die before she's back with me, or she's under 21, then I will initiate a fail-safe clause in my will. Just been too lazy to do any research.

If HKS has his digusting way, Virgie won’t be seeing much of DL. Perhaps Larry is just playing along with HKS until the custody issue is settled. However, I have a sinking feeling that he and Uncle HKS are partnered up for the long run.
Imagine how DL may feel one day, if she investigates for herself the circumstances of her brother’s and mother’s deaths. She might just agree with some of what her Grandma Virgie had to say.
