“KE seemed to be on something during the ET interviews - she was calm, cool, and collected rattling off the drug actions, but wasn’t projecting any emotion over losing her ‘best friend’ Anna - not a tear, not any signs of distress that one would expect. How would you, yourself, react, upon learning your best friend had died? would you be giving any interviews at all? wouldn’t they be tearful, trying to think of fond things to say? KE talked about suicide, smiling and winking”
I agree, KE’s demeanor and affect are entirely and bizarrely out of sync with the circumstances. Some kind of drug to slow her speech and thinking, maybe Soma? There was enough of it consumed in that hotel room. Or any of the other items on the “drug buffet.”
I could hardly watch that first interview because KE’s manner and delivery were so . . .inappropriate. I had finish watching it later on one of the sites because it was too eerie.
HKS’s lengthy speeches have that effect on me too. Maybe it’s the blatant insincerity.
Except with the Clintons I not only can't watch - I get violently ill.
