I posted this statement wrong: "Virgie didn't think she would have a problem claiming Vicki's daughter - went straight to bahamas - didn't foresee any of the circus that went on"....should be "Virgie didn't think she would have a problem claiming her daughter" (not Vicki's daughter).

Her point about the fact that now everyone who does not leave a will can have a judge appoint an ad litum to decide where they are buried - is indeed scary! It is ridiculous!!!!!

well, hopefully it won't be an ad litum who signs on as trustee and who's family isn't connected to NBC - THAT, was just TOO much !

Its not only ridiculous -- it is incorrect. ANS did not have a GAL assigned to her. ANS' next of kin, Danielynn had a GAL assigned to watch over her legal interests because Danielynn was an infant.

Those who do not leave a will and have next of kin who are over legal age will not have a GAL appointed to them.
