Kind of says it all about how today’s bands suck when people are willing to pay that kind of money to hear guys in their 50s who can blow away today’s younger bands.

Well, I wouldn’t entirely agree with that.

Today’s people in their 50’s have been going to rock concerts since they were kids - why should they stop.

There’s plenty of younger acts that sell out big arenas. Since you’re not in that demographic (I presume) you’re not likely to see much of their marketing.

Btw, my comment refers to the demand for younger bands — I’m not making quality comparisons.

www.lulu.com was founded by one of the co-founders of Red Had Linux, and offers an intriguing self-publishing print-on-demand solution. You can even sell your downloadable books from their site.

As a satisfied customer allow me to vouch for lulu. Lulu successfully adds value by printing and binding pdf (IIRC) files. Lulu publishes professional looking soft bound books of varying physical dimensions with unique ISBN numbers. You get a book a cut above the typical do-it-yourself publication printed in duplex on a HP laser then velobound.

Allow me to tout Audible's Audio Books. They sell downloadable audio books that you can burn to mp3/CD for a fraction of the price of prepackaged products.
