UFOs are real, but we don't know what they are, where they are from or what they are doing. There are tens of thousands of reports by sober, reasonable and responsible people. Millions upon millions of people have seen UFO's. Jacque Vallee's point is that such a phenomenom, with the potential or threat of profound change is a proper subject for scientific research. Saying that UFO's don't exist is not to search for the truth.

I've read a lot on the topic. There is definitely truth in what you say: "Facts and reality don’t stop them for believing what they WANT to believe. It tickles the imagination. Reality isn’t as exciting ...

So, what you have to do, is search for the serious researchers, who are trying to find the truth. In my opinion, the best is Jacques Vallee. Here are some Amazon links:

2. Dimensions: A Casebook of Alien Contact

3. Revelations-Alien Contact and Human Deception

4. UFO Chronicles of the Soviet Union: A Cosmic Samizdat

I've read a lot on the topic.

So have most of the rest of us. Also we have been listening to the Art Bell Show since last century. We have also been watching the sky since Roswell and nothing has gone Unidentified, not even the candles and dry cleaning bag thing (Phoenix is still wondering). Excepting the rubber dummies they dropped by parachute that one day.
