No, I didn’t ride, but Kristy climbed on Harley in the arena. He did OK, but he’s still got a slight limp:(....I’m calling the vet Mon. to see if she thinks he should still be limping, and if not what to do.

Oh - bummer about him still limping. I'd hoped he'd be over it by now.

Here's pics from Tiff's.

Tell and Mia...

Don't let the first picture of Mia fool you... she looks more piggie than cute right now...

Kat2... pregnant. Due April.

Hey girl! I just got in from a ride and thought I’d check the thread to see what was going on. The area rug idea sounds like a good one to me. I love the one you’ve picked out too. Polypro rugs are real durable and easy to clean too. If you spill something on them you can basically just take it outside and hose it off.

I love the floors Duchess! Your cabinets look great too. It’s all light and airy in there. Very nice!

Mia looks about like Harley did before I rode him...

Kat looks pretty big to not be due till April. What did she breed her too?

...I think he's testing the ground, and seeing if he actually has to behave in the new place...

Just like a kid! He thought he was just on one big long vacation and shouldn't have to work. Guess he learned different! ;o)

Well good for you for riding:)

And that’s good to know about the rugs being easy to clean. With the grandkids easy cleaning will be nice.

Online, Lowes carries tons of different ones, took me a while to go thru all of them, but I found a few more I liked too...so now it will be deciding which, once I figure out what size I’ll need.

I’m glad everyone, so far, approves of what I’m thinking:) A rug like that is something I’ve always wanted, so it would be special that you all got it for me, especially because of the reason.

Dang! Kat2 looks like she could foal right now. Looks like she’s already sunk in around the croup, but it may just be the way she’s standing. She’s a nice looking horse though.

Thanks for the tip!

Once our youngest finishes school, we are definitely downsizing out of this big old barrack of a house. And whether we build or renovate, we'll be looking at floors (unless we find an old farmhouse with heart pine flooring. I will move heaven and earth to keep real heart pine.)

She bred her to some stallion that a friend of a friend had... it was sortof a convoluted story.

I think QH or Paint.

I hope she’s not going to foal before April... Tiff’s not ready. She needs the big stall Tell’s still locked up in.

Well, I’m getting ready to run down to Jenny’s. They are bringing home a new 6wk old choc. lab puppy tonight.

I’m not sure I approve of them getting a dog:), they have a lot on their plates already, 2 kids, both working...but they want a family dog. Jenny is planning on taking the dog with her to work during the day so it won’t be home all day by itself.

I have my camera already in my purse:)

Well, puppies are fun, whether they’re always smart or not!

I took Gidget to work with me when she was a pup... till she was old enough to be outside. It was January when I got her.

It will be interesting to see how a 6 wk old puppy and a 20 month old baby boy spend their time in a room together:) I’m not sure which one to worry about:)

6 week old Chocolate! Wow! My choc says "Hi, kid!"

Show or field bloodlines?

Make sure they spend time 'bonding' in the crucial 7 week timeframe. That makes such a difference.

You know, unless Kat2 is standing funny or has no hip, she looks like she’s due sooner than April. When was she bred?

Thanks. It’s really lightened up the house and makes it seem much larger.
