Sorry. I was being a smart ass. The picture won’t load.

Hiro’s dad as ‘Sulu’... it’s cool how the two are connected.

I remember the second Heroes episode that George Takei was in. He got in an argument with Hiro, and then left in his limousine. I just happen to notice that the license plate number of his limo was NCC-1701. I imagine most folks missed that.

I’ll have to go back and check that out. Too funny!

Kevin, a suggestion for new threads you start -- can you add "sci-fi" to the list of keywords? It makes it easier to search them out and find them again. (My Recent Pings page fills up really fast and sometimes I can't find threads that are even a day or two old.)

Just a thought. Thanks.

Nevermind. I just realized that I can enter that myself. I thought that only the creator of the thread could do that.

««license plate number of his limo was NCC-1701.»»

How dare that guy steal my FReeper handle!

I definitely noticed that, but I noticed little nerdy jokes like that. =) Simple things can make me so happy, especially if they’re nerdy simple things.

So, is “Big Bang Theory” gonna make it? I’ve seen it twice and found it very funny, very geeky and filed with good subtle humor. At least one of the writers must have a science degree.

I think it will be a short lived hit but may live on elsewhere.

I’ve never actually seen that, it just happens to be on at the same time as Chuck. However, I just looked on CBS.com to see the time, and they have full episodes online, so I’ll go check it out seeing how I’m sick and I have no homework to do.

“OMG! Simon Pegg is gonna play Scotty?!?!”

SCOTTY...oh no “Hot Fuzz” and “Shaun of the Dead” will never be the same. I can’t watch “Sense and Sensibility” any more because all I see is Dr. Lazarus.

And McCoy has finally been cast. New Zealand actor Karl Urban.

The question is, can Urban do the Tennessee drawl of McCoy?

I have to admit...since watching “Galaxy Quest” I cannot look at a Star Trek episode the same!

Me neither. Tim Allen made a better Shatner than Shatner ever did. ;)

I notice these things. It’s sad, I know.

Nothing sad about it, man.

Attention to detail is nothing to be ashamed of, especially with matters of sci-fi. The people I hang around can spot a continuity error on a science fiction show from miles away.
