I don’t understand why computer choices have to be so political.

I agree, but many things besides computer platforms are politicized these days.

Is it just me or has the left politicized everything.

I think there’s more and greater (to state the obvious) polarization today than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime (and I’m OLD!)

Many things that shouldn’t be philosophically politicized are.

There's a greater divide than ever in life and not just in the US. It’s worldwide.

It would be interesting to see what terms are used to describe this polarization, but that itself, would probably be labeled with the usual terms, “racist, sexist, homophobe, xenophobe, etc., etc.”,...the usual suspects.
