And the question remains, what is he going to do about it? Leave things the way they are so more people leave?

OK, that's rhetorical, I know you can't read his muddled mind. :)

Chip Ganassi Racing introduced its stable of drivers -- not all NASCAR, mind you -- who represent six countries. It even looked like a U.N. meeting with flags from the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Colombia, Mexico and Scotland behind the main podium and smaller versions on each table.

So the Caviar and Smoked Salmon are gone but it's been replaced with Continental Cuisine. I want Southern Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak with a lot of California Grillin...

We woke to lung searing low temp of 31 degrees on the deck this morning but the day turned brilliant sunshine. For the first time in months I was able to take a nap in the garden in a KMart plastic chair this afternoon until I was awaken by the drone of a vintage airplane approaching. I thought it was the AT6 that is hangared here but it was a Bi-Wing radial.

I grabbed the bi-noc I keep in the garden shed I keep for bird watching good fortune, as it made 5 passes at a low altitude. I still don't know what it was but it had retractable landing gear...

Bi-Wing radial w/ retractable landing gear with a tailwheel I presume? Maybe a Grumman FF-1

Doesn’t look like it. Could it have had a inline engine with a round fairing. Were there any special built crop dusters?

I can’t think of any. It may have been a Beech Staggerwing but they are getting rare these days.

ESPN revamps on-air personality lineup

ABC/ESPN, after returning to NASCAR racing last year, will retool its coverage this season.

The moves, being announced Wednesday, include removing Rusty Wallace as lead race analyst. He’ll become lead analyst in the prerace show, which last year didn’t have anyone in such a role.

Wallace’s replacement on races: Dale Jarrett, who’ll retire from racing after the first five races in this season’s Sprint Cup Series (the former Nextel Cup Series).

Allen Bestwick, a NASCAR TV veteran who was an ABC/ESPN pit reporter last year, becomes studio show host — replacing Brent Musburger and Suzy Kolber, who were largely new to NASCAR. ESPN reporter Shannon Spake replaces Bestwick in the pits. (USA Today)

Funny pic....."Lucy, you got some 'splainin to do!" oops!

Very cool on DJ in the booth! I've watched a couple of the races that were on ESPC recently - Ned Jarrett announcing - thinking, "how long before I get to hear DJ doing some announcing?"

I like Rusty but I think DJ will be better. And Bestwick in the studio! Glad they got rid of Moosecheese...yuk!

All changes for the better.

Only a couple days before I get to see the boys doing their thing at the LVMS!!!!!
