Priorities: God, Family & Friends.

I oppose views associated with a belief that government -- at any level -- has total solutions to particular societal problems.
Government, as its top priorities, must provide for our national security and defense, including along our borders, and offer an appropriate level of local public safety, and ensure the provision of utilities such as water and sewerage and a sufficient amount of electricity, and build adequate roads and offer transportation services.
Government should also protect those that are society's most vulnerable (especially the sick elderly, weak, and handicapped) but, unfortunately, the sad record shows it does a very poor job of helping children in need and the elderly and the mentally ill. Private sector non-profits (including faith-based institutions) are much better at managing social programs to assist the poor and those who can't help themselves.
There can be no compromises on "Right to Life" -- in the womb through the end of natural life.
God has given all the right to life and our US Constitution is supposed to protect that inalienable right.

I support and advocate on behalf of our 2nd Amendment freedoms.
An excellent home protection weapon:

Benelli M1 Super 90, pistol grip, 8 rounds semi-auto, 18.5" barrel, ghost ring sights.
Not many miscreants would want to stare down the barrel of such a weapon, and if they tried to break into your home they wouldn't live to tell about it.
A very good concealed carry handgun. Heckler & Koch 9mm USP Compact.

We need honest and courageous public servants and civic leaders who speak the truth and possess values which coincide with our Christian beliefs. We also need citizens to be involved in the process and who support and encourage good candidates to represent us. Primarily, however, we need the TRUTH to be spoken by our duly elected officials. If they don't they should be VOTED OUT OF OFFICE!

Never forget that our own United States government can sometimes do terribly evil things.
Here are three fairly recent examples:
One:
The United States of America should be ashamed for what BJ Clinton, Janet Reno, Eric Holder (yes, that Eric Holder, who is now, unfortunately, the US Attorney General), and the US Judiciary and (through inaction) legislative branches of government did to Elian Gonzales. While Clinton & Reno should forever live in infamy, Elian now lives under the oppressive boot of Fidel Castro's communist Cuba.

Two:
We should never forget that the US government, because of an out of control judicial system and a "husband" who wanted her dead, murdered Terri Schindler Schiavo.
May Terri rest in the embrace of God's love, and may her family find solace through their strong and abiding Roman Catholic faith.

Three:
We will never forget what happened at Ruby Ridge, Idaho.
For those that don't know or can't recall, a mother was assassinated in August 1992 (during the presidency of George HW Bush #41) by an FBI sniper, Lon Horiuchi, on the front porch her home, while she held her baby in her arms. In addition, and equally terrible, the Weaver's son was shot in the back and killed by a US Marshal. Randy Weaver's attorney was quoted after a trial that exonerated his client: "A jury today has said that you cant kill somebody just because you wear badges, and then cover up those homicides by prosecuting the innocent," he said. "What are we now going to do about the deaths of Vicki Weaver, a mother who was killed with a baby in her arms, and Sammy Weaver, a boy who was shot in the back? Somebody has to answer for those deaths." While wrongful death payouts were made admitting government culpability, the federal agents have never been held accountable.
