I oppose views associated with a belief that government, at any level, has complete solutions to particular problems.

Government, as its top priorities, must provide for our national security and defense, along with appropriate levels of local public safety, utilities such as water and sewer services, and sufficient roads and transit. Government should also protect those that are the most vulnerable in our society but, unfortunately, the sad record shows it does a very poor job of assisting children in need and helpless elderly and the mentally ill. Private sector non-profits (including and especially faith based institutions) are much better at managing social programs to assist the poor and those who can't help themselves.

There can be no compromises on "Right to Life" -- in the womb or at the end of life. God has given all the right to life, and our US Constitution protects that inalienable right.

I support, and advocate, on behalf of our 2nd Amendment freedoms.

We need committed and honest public servants and civic leaders who speak the truth and possess values which coincide with our Christian beliefs. We also need common citizens to speak up in order to hold accountable elected and appointed government officials. Mostly, however, we need the TRUTH to be spoken by clergy, electeds, and citizens -- unvarnished and clear.

Never forget that government can sometimes do terribly evil things.
As one example, The United States of America should be ashamed for what BJ Clinton, Janet Reno, and the Judiciary did to little Elian Gonzales. While Clinton & Reno should forever live in infamy, Elian now lives under the oppressive boot of Fidel Castro's communist Cuba.
And, we should never forget that the US government, through its out of control judicial system and a "husband" who wanted her dead, murdered Terri Schindler Schiavo.
May Terri rest in the embrace of God's love, and may her parents and siblings find peace through their strong and abiding Faith.
