As for the stupid pinhole, Windows PC you didn’t have to unplug - duh. It would have to be severe to do that. Mostly you just pressed the big, fat power button, which Macs didn’t have for “off”. Easy to shut down? When it was locking up, you couldn’t USE the menu!!!!

Never said you could. I was just stating where the shut down was located. And yes ... macs have always had a power button. The pin hole was for lockups.
