There was an actress who I think had a decent adolescent career on tv and starred in movie called Showgirls. It had a lot of full frontal nudity and ended her career.

It wasn't the nudity that ended her career. It was a Paul Verhoven film, and an especially bad one at that... However, it did have Gina Gershon in it, which nearly makes up for everything else what was horrible in the movie. Nearly, but not quite.
