Please....they “roared” at the line INSIDE THE TIGER’s ENCLOSURE!

Surely you work for Geragos?

I do not KNOW anything.

Neither do you.

You evidently think this kind of behavior is just fine as you’re doing everything in your power to defend it.

And someone upthread said there was NO shoe in the moat.

Just what the hell do you know that no one else does, Mr. Geragos?

I am NOT absolving the Zoo here. I am condemning what the little turds did and feel no sympathy for them, none at all.

I stipulated it was scuttlebutt.

I don’t know what happened. Only those fine boys know what happened, frankly.

But nor does the fine Mr. Brightside or you for that matter.

Now the police have access to their car and cell phone. Notice how those boys are now talking. Notice how Geragos is not responding to phone calls now.

Mr. Brightside’s having a fine time.

Let him defend those boys. Most folks on this thread show plenty of common sense, enough to make up for Brightside’s lack of same.

I go one step past you,I am sad that a beautiful animal like a tiger is even in a small enclosure in a zoo. It should be in it’s native habitat and humans could go there to see him if they were brave enough. And NO I am not a member of PETA, I just hate zoos.

The boy who was killed may or may not have been as much a punk as the two brothers, but he at least was willing to run to his friend to try to save him from the tiger - and he got killed for his efforts.

I’d like to clarify my comments.

The boys’s behavoir may have been immature, but no matter what they were doing, teasing the tiger, roaring, or even mooning it, that Tiger should not have been allowed to escape that enclosure.

Unless they themselves assisted in releasing the tiger, they are still innocent parties. Being an ass is not illegal. The tiger got out. It should not have been able to get out. But it got out, so the zoo is at fault, unless as I stated before, one of the boys assisted the tiger in getting out.

The boys actions may have been stupid, but it wasn’t illegal, it wasn’t criminal, and it certainly didn’t warrant a mauling at what is supposed to be a safe and secure establishment.

If the boys were creating a disturbance, zoo officials should have removed them.

The zoo’s own negligence in keeping the tiger caged is what turned the magnificent beast into a magnificent rug.

Brightside, I was hoping you would be on here this morning. As I said previously, you watch how this thing plays out and then go back and re-evaluate all your prior statements on this situation.

"but he at least was willing to run to his friend to try to save him from the tiger

This was according to the other two surviving liars. I doubt anything that comes out of their mouth. What if the words they spoke "don't tell them what we did" meant pushing Carlos Jr. towards the tiger so these two thugs can escape? Just something to ponder.

You too.

And what positions do I have that might have to be retracted?

I have only stated that the zoo was extemely negligent.

I am not defending the “boys.”

I am condemning the zoo officials.

“I have only stated that the zoo was extremely negligent.”

Like hell, you’ve been all over these newspaper accounts, popping off about the behavior of the ‘boys’, saying that ‘there is no evidence’ they did anything wrong, over and over and over, and you have nothing to base any of this on. Now, stuff starts leaking out, and there will likely be more, and you will likely look more foolish with each new update. But boy, you knew it all a week or two ago.

I have posted several police statements that there was no evidence that the brothers taunted the animal.

If the brothers “roared” while waiving their hands, it still does not excuse the zoo for allowing its tiger to escape.

Do you have some retracting to do since all of the first reports were wrong???? (dangled leg, helped tiger escape, shoe in the moat, slingshots, uncooperative with police, etc.)

What new information is leaking out? The yelling and waiving arms is nothing new. The lion witness told us this weeks ago.

“Should the gorilla cage be strong enough to keep the animal inside as long as kids don’t waive their arms and say “OOO-OOO” to the gorilla?

If an eagle escaped and clawed the eyes out of an 8 year old visitor that flapped his arms and said “KAW, KAW” would you still feel the same?”

Ahhhh, excuse me, but these “kids” were adults. One or more was “standing” on the railing taunting the tiger. These “kids” were under the influence so who knows what else they did. Did they throw anything into the tiger’s den?

The fact is also, that they (surviving “kid” and his attorney) lied to the public.

I don’t consider making animal noises “taunting.”

I don’t consider KAWing at the eagle, OOO-OOOing at the gorilla, ROARing at the lions or HISSing at the snakes to be the kind of taunting that would enable an animal to escape from their cage.

The cops had eyewitness accounts of yelling, ROARing and waiving arms weeks ago, yet have stated that they had no evidence the brothers taunted the animals.
