It was good seeing David C being gracious to David A that what a professional does.
I do not know if what Randy and Simon said was intentional or not. But I do believe it caused a backlash reaction and energize the voters.
What I am wondering now is what are all the Showbiz pundits that proclaimed Idol was dead are gonna say now that 97-million,500-thousand votes were cast? The "All You Can Eat Crow Bar" is going to open for awhile for alot of them lol.
I would like to see where the votes came from for the the Davids. My hunch is Missouri, specifically KC, broke for Cook and out-gunned...what town was Archie from???
The first hour wasn’t that great. The best part of the show was David Cook playing with and singing lead with ZZ Top. It was great. The second hour was a lot better than the first imo.

Well, I've always liked BA and my band plays, "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You." About a month ago we debuted it, and I mean everybody in the whole place got to the dance floor on that one! I do an acoustic version of "Cuts Like A Knife" and everybody loves it, and I can't sing worth a tinker's damn! I just happened to sound a "little" like him when I attempt yodalizing.
I think for the most part everyone has a geniune like for BA and his music.
It might be but I'm telling you the sound mix absolutely sux!!!! Hi-hats are way too forward in the mix, back off sound guy!!! Frank beard looked as though he was a puppet on a string. I know these guys have played these songs a million times, but you have to give a little bit of effort. You need to pound out Sharped Dressed Man, everyone looked and played like they were trying not to mess it up. Geez!!!

We were talking about that last night. Mine cut off 1 second after Ryan said "Cook". Fortunately we set it to tape the local news after it so we had the whole thing but it was dang close. Imagine if it had been 2 seconds earlier and you only heard Ryan say "David..."
Agree with all of that. I love Marty's record. I grew up a huge INXS fan and Fortune was the right choice but it's just not the same...
