I read an article that next year they are going back to the half hour results show.

I wonder how much the writers' strike had to do with the 1 hour result shows... Fox had less material to air, so, just pad the ol' cash cow, right?

here in mobile it seems pretty easy to get the “job” - from what they were saying yesterday that have a pretty hard time due to the 13 hour work day - and all breaks and lunch must be taken at the polling site as you’re not allowed to leave during the election hours per state law. Heck, I think I can remember how to pack a lunch....and as much as I love politics, this is pretty much like throwing a kid in toys-r-us....I’m looking forward to it...

I guess covered-up would be a better phrase then reworked. I've got one on my ankle that I got when I was 19. Even though that was just 6 months ago (okay...maybe it was a little longer then that. 10 months ago), it's faded and not that nice looking anymore. So, I'm having something else put over it.

Sometimes the original design can be seen a little through the new one, but you really have to look for it or know it's there to see it.

I can't really tell you what the big deal about them is. My dad was a Marine and has a "USMC" on his forearm that always fascinated me and I wanted one for as long as I could remember. I've got the star on my ankle (my first one at 19), a sun on my shoulder (at 23) and a butterfly on my back (at 24) and now this newish one (at 21, funny how time works that way).

You know something funny just occurred to me. Conservatives have the reputation for being either huge white trash hillbillies or like Thurston and Lovey Howell. No in between.

In just the last few days we’ve talked about going to get tattoos done, sirchtruth is in a band, Jonny is an amazing artist, Netizen talked about taking her mom to a strip club, and someone else (I forgot who) got asked if by a stripper if she used to dance at the strip club they were in. Yep. Conservatives can do wild n' crazy things, too. They just take resposibility for the outcome of said behavior! lol

I think the thing that ticks me off most is when libs assert that only Republicans make or made their money off oil. They seem to conveniently forget about Albore's dad and Rockefeller.

One thing to keep in mind is that even though Cook won by 12 million votes, the tweens who voted for Arhie are the ones who vote 50 or more times. That means that the number of people (not the number of votes) who voted for Cook was probably 5 times more than Archie.

We're talking landslide here.
