I searched, but didn't see this posted. This is the video of Kelly Clarkson singing Ave Maria for the Pope. It was for the youth rally and I think she did a great job.

listen to the maria callas version linked here, it makes clarkson sound like fingernails on a blackboard, i suspect you won’t, ur mind is made up and not capable of examining real music
It is a powerful and prayerful song if sung correctly and this was a poor effort.
I think it is totally wrong to criticize this young woman for a valiant effort to pray in song standing right in front of the Pope. She deserves praise and kudos for doing this.
Besides, God doesn’t need an orator, nor does he require a professional opera singer to sing a prayer to him.
Shame on all FReepers who are downgrading Kelly Clarkson for this.

I’m going to tell you something from the bottom of my heart. If you are indeed recovering from a stroke, it would behoove you to post and to think positive thoughts. Stay away from the negative. You sound like an extremely negative and confrontational person. You posted to me four times before I responded to you. You wanted a fight. That is not good for recovery or for a long and happy life. And that is what I wish for you.
