I think I say “thank you” at wrong times. I have a habit of re-thanking the person who thanks me, instead of saying, “your welcome”. I notice a lot of other people do the same. Watching Fox News, it seems their guests do the same after being thanked for contributing to the show. Reply back is generally, “thank you” or “thank you for having me”.

The sign we are using is intended to communicate "thank you from the bottom of my heart. "
To make the sign simply place your hand on your heart as though you're saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Then pull your hand down and out, bending at the elbow (not the wrist), stopping for a moment at about the belly button with your hand flat, palm up, angled toward the person you're thanking.

Bump. I got this in an email from a scoutmaster. Ran the FR search to see if it was posted yet. I hope the soldiers know what the sign means.

I just received this e-mail and passed it along to pretty much my entire address book. I hope this campaign spreads like wildfire. Our service men and women deserve this - at the very least.
