You can also see the new trailer on the official website, which has finally been updated.

This trailer is awe-inspiring; even moreso than the last one (which I also thought was spectacular).

I've been taking a much-needed break from FR for a while, but I had to come back to post this one. This is shaping up to be a superb film, with fantastic performances from Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, and Aaron Eckhart. Now for some screencaps!

May Heath Ledger rest in peace...the Joker was his last full performance, and sure to be his most memorable.

A few others:

Here's our first real glimpse of Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent:

As well as his tragic alter-ego, Two-Face:

I am SOOOOOOOOO excited about this movie. Christian Bale is my most favorite actor. However, it will probably be more of a Heath Ledger event.

I guess it’s another stay-up-all-Knight Midnight showing for me. ;’)

Yeah, you’re probably right. Even though I’m convinced Bruce Wayne/Batman will remain the central character, Ledger’s passing will play a large part in the movie’s reception.

I thought the second trailer was better - or even perfect.

I may camp-out at the ticket window. When Star Wars came out, I saw the people on TV and swore I’d *never* do something like that...now I’m seriously considering it. Lol.

The second was amazing...I just liked that this one seem to delve deeper into the story. But the second one was *really* good.

I have never been that big of a batman fan but the previews are damned good looking, so I may go to the movies and see this one.

I've been wishing for hollywood to start taking “comic book” heroes seriously.

And since Batman has always been a favorite, I am SOOOOoooo looking forward to this.

The new Incredible Hulk looks promising as well.

Iron Man was REALLY good. My expectations for it weren’t really that high, but I ended up enjoying it much more than I thought.

THe preview during Iron Man for the Hulk looked very good. But I heard that Norton has been arguing about some creative control, he wants to make it longer and more introspective, while the studio wants it shorter and more action packed. I hope it doesnt get ruined in the process.

Amen, brother! I love what Chris Nolan has done here...he’s taken a classic comic book character and portrayed him with a deep, dark, amazing storyline. As epic as TDK looks (and rest assured it is the most epic Batman movie so far), it actually tells a very deep, personal story.

I saw the Incredible Hulk trailer before Iron Man, and I must say, it does look good. I had my doubts at first, but it seems to be a huge step up from the last one. Who knows? Maybe this one will actually have moments of humor in it.

Only time will tell. I do hope there’s some focus on the whole tortured loner aspect of Bruce Banners existence. The idea of a haunted and hunted man trying to save himself from himself appeals to me on a gut level.

I found the last Hulk offering to be too cartoony, maybe this one will wash the bad taste out of my mouth.

"Cartoony" in terms of "he can jump five miles," yes. But my biggest problem with the movie was how unbelievably humorless and pretentious and overtly-artsy it was. I can see Ang Lee in the production room now: "I have clear vision of Hulk movie. It like ancient Chinese haiku. Big green pretty bird fly. Anger is his beauty. He fall from space like spiritual existence."

By taking the path of The Dark Knight instead of Batman, Nolan completely restored the character. I saw “Begins” with some hesitation, but was blown away. That’s what The Batman was meant to be, dark, gritty and driven.

But, it’s not like they really had far to go though. Tim Burton wasn’t up to the task.

The Michael Keaton Batman was almost painful to watch, and while I thought Bale wouldn’t have been my first choice to resurrect the franchise, I was dead wrong. He did a wonderful job in Begins.

Hopefully there’s more to come.
