Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the golf announcers are using what seems like voice-actuated mikes this year. I hear this annoying rushing sound every time they speak, and I’m watching on HDTV.

Never noticed before how much torque Tiger puts on that left leg until this knee trouble and the pundits pointing it out. You'd think he shorten those left cleats a little so he could have a little give on that follow through. But then I suppose he wouldn't have the anchor he needs for that big power swing. Two surgeries, I don't think he's reaching Nicklaus' records unless he re-tools his swing yet again. He took the stress off his lower back, but now it's that torque problem.
Anyway, I hope Mediate, Westwood and Ogilvie continue to keep this interesting. These tournaments are the most fun to watch, when the ground crew make the best struggle for par.

Tiger showed his instep on that 10th hole drive. De-stressing that leg and hit it right down the middle. Didn’t show it on the approach shot but it was a very relaxed swing. Finding a way to win.

I usually don’t pull for anyone in these matches, just want to see a good fight, but I hope Rocco wins this, it would be refreshing. But Tiger is so dang relentless, you can see that he is not using knee pain as any kind of excuse.

Being a huge Rush fan..I know from living in Naples and bumping into Mediate many times downtown that this guy is coming from out of nowhere here to possibly upset this field and win this. This would be huge! Alex Lifeson (guitarist of Rush) and Rocco are best friends and Lifeson is taking the stage as we speak in Boston where I am sure it is killing him to not see his friend possibly win this...lol. They did a show together on the Golf Channel together about 2 years ago...

Here we are at the 15th, and Rocco up one just drilled his tee shot. Gotta love it.

That’s interesting. I saw Rush live once way back in the day, late 70’s because I liked their Hemispheres album the best. Honestly, they stunk live. They sounded horrible. Lee’s voice was cracking, and their sound board guy had no clue. It was just loud, distorted noise. Their opening act was 38 Special, who sounded awesome. You could hear every note, and understand the lyrics. They blew Rush off the stage. “Hold on loosely, and don’t let go...”.....

Looking at a birdie on 17 now, and having the time of his life, laughing it up.

This is fun to watch. Mediate now facing maybe the putt of his life to put this away, Tiger looking at par. Great stuff.

Rocco’s gotta make or it’s a playoff
To: FlyVet
Rocco safely on. Tiger ripped the tab loose on his golf glove right before that last approach shot. Wonder why he did that. Feeling some heat maybe?
"Isn't this fun...."

Playoff coming. I can’t imagine neither Woods nor Westwood getting a birdie on 18.

Yep, good for him, I really like his attitude.......
Tiger was struggling all day but still stayed in the race. Good for him too........
