Pictures - you know we want pictures! But absent those, your ‘reports’ will tide us over. :)

And pictures you will get, just as soon as I get home and get unpacked I will get my photos sorted, uploaded and posted.

We are at the Columbus airport waiting for our flight to SLC, then have a three hour layover there and then fly to Oakland. It may take me awhile to get over the jet lag and get rested before I can deal with photo editing, etc., but pictures will be coming.

Dolly and dutchess, if you e-mailed your photos to me, I haven't gotten them yet. My mail seems to be trying to download one slooooowwwww byte at a time here. It's free WiFi at the airport and I guess you really do get what you pay for. LOL My mail is showing only 4K downloaded and 8.7 Meg to go. At that rate it won't download before I leave here. I will get it when I get home.

Got to go and grab something to eat before we board. TTY'all later!

This was at the top of my comments just now, and am sure you're in line to board the plane as I type this. Looking forward to pictures and more 'reports' when you get back to West Coast.

I don't think you or Amy or Jim or Dave were near enough the earthquake the other day to have been affected, but looks like California is not having the best summer, with all the fires and the high temperatures and earthquake. Be safe, and REST up! You're gonna be busy again very soon, always have to make up for taking time off! LOL

Still one of the BEST doggie animations ever - though the one Amy posted (pictured below) the other day gives it a run for the money!

Awwwwwww - hey, is anyone watching America's Greatest Dog? (America's Most Talented Dog?)

The animals are priceless. There is an English Bulldog that was my favorite (he got eliminated this week though.) :(

Hi Billie, I had no problem finding several Mutt and Jeff cartoons,
except I should have used the simpler ones below:

The 1907 creation of Bud Fisher, the panel newspaper comic made its debut in The San Francisco Chronicle. Initially, Mutt was the sole star of the series. Jeff didn't appear until five months in the strip's run. Before Jeff's arrival, the series was called A. Mutt and focused on Mutt's racetrack gambling and nagging wife. Before newspapers had a comics section, Mutt and Jeff appeared in the sports pages. Jeff soon came to represent the American dream and the ironic striving of the common man--from humble beginnings.

Mutt and Jeff enjoyed one of the longest runs of any comic strip in history, with 75 years under its belt when it last appeared in 1982. After Fisher's retire from the strip, it was taken over by one of his more dedicated assistants, Al Smith, who worked tirelessly on the stories from 1932 to 1980. Mutt and Jeff also appeared in DC, Dell and Harvey Comics between the 1930s and 1960s. They even left a lasting pop culture coloquialism in their wake: "Mutt and Jeff" is often used to describe a tall and short pair.

You are right; I thought I pulled out all the stops.
