.. .. and “Nancy” Drew gets the MVP
Can’t quite figure that out. He tied it, but Young won it.
Considering where it was played, and given the circumstances surrounding the “cathedral”, might as well have given it to a Yankee.
g’night , .. .. {{ signing-off from The Peoples’ Republik of Noo Yawk }}
WOO HOO! AL wins... JD Drew gets the MVP award (and 2009 Chevy Tahoe hybrid). The game ended around 1:38am ET... nearly 5 hours. Now I’m off to bed...
Me too. From the same place!
I guess those bad hops were Uggla-finders, huh? I feel awful for him - man!!
Kazmir is one lucky dog - his arm is still attached, too.
Night everyone! Great game!
Never forgive Omar for Kazmir (thought it might have been Phillips. Senior moment here)
I must have voted 30 times for J.D. From the eighth inning on until I went to bed I just kept voting for him. Big hit!
It was low and cheap for sure. It was also 100% off the mark, because what was Nancy's policy? Just say No.
How did he get off of drugs? by finding the courage, the faith and the support of friends to enable him to do just that.
Uggla was atrocious. He really couldn’t have had a worse All Star game.
Billy Wagner has shown why he is giving me, and every other Mets fan, nightmares about his performance under the spotlight. To come into the game with 2 outs and nobody on base, and give up the tying run, is what we Amazin’ fans have come to know as “Vintage Wagner”. His new name is Billy “Benitez” Wagner.
Brad Lidge losing the game in the 15th was the one good thing about the NL losing home field for the WS. Hopefully this will send him on one of his patented extended slumps allowing the Mets to pass the Phils in the second half.
All in all, it was a great game.
Ooh! As a SF Giants fan who was happy to see Bum-nitez go after he started whining, I feel for you. Brian Wilson did a fine job and should have finished the inning.
I had enough of Benitez on the Mets the first time he was here. Now to have him again, only this time in disguise, is just too much.
I sent Peter Gammons an e-mail at his espn e-mail and told him he should apologize. So far he has not responded.
LOL. I hope you are not holding your breath!
