Hey ya’ll. We're still out of power. Our roof vent doubled back on itself and lots shingles gone. Limbs from the front yard trees are in the back, and limbs from the back are in the front yard, but the trees are still here. Our neighbors lost trees and fences. All in all, we are very fortunate. No flooding up here.

I hear Harlingen really caught it. Anyone hear from RVGTx?

My posts aren't all going thru for some reason. I'm glad to hear you damages aren't too bad. It's hard to imagine how bad it is just a few miles away. My son said he saw on the news this morning that McAllen is having problems with looting. Have you hears anything about that?

I have lights but all but basic cable is out and my land modem keeps going in and out too. I work from home and I'm not allowed to use Wireless so I'm working when I can. I usually keep the tv on for company. I leave it on the home improvement channel. Today.....there is some weird stuff on tv now. Some talk show this morning with a guy with an accent and a "money" man. They were talking about Obama and how stocks would go up and the economy would be better so it really didn't matter about him raising taxes. I had to mute or scream. This afternoon...the soap operas...they can talk and do that stuff on tv now? Wow....and the commercials..is nothing private anymore?
