Is that stress showing in your face, Madonna, or attempts to defy the ravages of time?

Dressed up to the nines and wearing plenty of make-up, Madonna still manages to look pretty sensational for a woman rapidly approaching her half century.

But bare-faced and in short sleeves, she reveals some of the gruelling health and beauty regime behind the glamour.

Madonna, seen holding hands with her daughter Lourdes as they left a Kabbalah centre in New York, wore a T-shirt which exposed the veins standing out on arms subjected to endless workouts.

> There are lots of beautiful women past 50 (Dana Delany, Linda Carter, and Mel Harris come to mind) but Madonna is not and will never be one of them.

Madonna has been ridden hard and put away wet for many years, and it shows.

No, what’s horrifying is that she has obviously had implants inserted into her face and collagen injected into her upper lip, and is meanwhile starving herself down to cadaverous levels in order to look 30. Better to just look 50.

My Daddy told me this a 1000 or so years ago:

The face that over cocktails looked so sweet

May not look that sweet over shredded wheat.

Damm he was smart.

> We pick a small percentage of the population. We give those people money and put their pictures on TV constantly. Then we try to kill them.

Hand me a crying towel! In the case of Madonna, this is something that she pursued vigorously, and nobody put a gun to her head to do it. “We” didn’t do anything but watch.

Celebrity is a double edged sword: fun while it lasts but it sucks when its past its use-by date.

Self-inflicted injury should always be punished as such.

Does your life model include ridicule for those who look older than they want to look? If so, good luck.

Better to just look 50.

We agree on that. What a marvelous gift to be allowed to reach the age of 50.

My life model includes ridicule for people who feel the need to pretend to be something that they are not.

In Madonna’s case, “mutton dressed as lamb.”

According to awfulplasticsurgery.com, her skeletor face is the result of a combination of cheek implants and drastic weight loss. Sounds plausible to me.

Yah. I’m 43 myself. I don’t think anyone’s mocking her for reaching 50. They’re horrified by how grotesque she’s become in fighting it.

I don't have any desire to judge or kill a celebrity.

When they open their ignorant pie holes, well, I sure do. Metaphorically speaking. Kill your TV now; get 2 birds with one stone..

Thank you. There's nothing wrong (or necessarily unattractive) in growing older. But Madonna has given herself the Waylan Flowers and Madam look with those cheek implants.

Madonna’s pretty handy with those B-12 shots, according to usmagazine.com.

Back in March, Timberlake admitted getting a B-12 shot from Madonna while working on her album “Hard Candy,” according to people.com.

It’s not just Justin Timberlake who dropped his pants for Madonna, for Scottish actor Gerard Butler too did the same for the stunning singer.

The ‘300’ star revealed that the Queen of pop also asked him to bare his bottom to give him a vitamin jab.

“I got in a B-12 shot in my a— by...” the Hollyscoop quoted him as saying.

“I was sick, and she was a nurse basically. Guy introduced me to her and she said, ‘’You’’re the sick one?’’ and I said, ‘’Yes.’ Well, she was amazing. She just said, ‘’Drop your pants,’’ Butler said.

“I stood there with my little bottom out, and she gave me a shot in the bum!” he added.

Madonna...

“Every time I do a show, I die a little bit, but no sh** is worth doing unless you’re willing to die for it.”
