Susie got 3 votes?

Susie?

She only made to where she was because she flipped and joined “Them”.

I know! I couldn't believe my eyes! She is one of the most undeserving people. For all her coniving ways, Sugar played a good game and didn't deserve to be treated the way these people ended up treating her. I think Corrine and her ugly mouth had a hand in that.

I saw a new side to Corrine last night, and I didn’t like her one little bit! She’s an ugly and hateful person and what came out of her mouth was nowhere near dry humor. The hateful comment to Sugar at tribal was un-freakin-believable. If I were her mother I’d be ashamed of her.

I give Sugar credit for actually playing the game and making bold moves. If it had been just her and Susie in the finals, I would have voted for Sugar. In fact, I’m disgusted that Susie even received three votes. Crystal and Ken are sore losers who were simply casting anti-Bob, anti-Sugar spite votes. I’m disappointed in Matty for voting for Susie, though. I thought he was better than that.

That said, Sugar was still a two-faced hypocrite, creating a sweet persona for the cameras while saying nasty things about people behind their backs. It really tells you something that the audience, who saw only what the cameras showed them, loved Sugar, but the players, who saw everything, didn’t like her. Each episode of the show covers 3 days or 4320 minutes of actual game time, and each episode is about 43 minutes of Survivor show time, so we literally see 1 percent of what goes on.

VERY happy about Bob winning. Sugar should have gotten the 2nd place

Ditto all you said.

I would rather have seen Matty in Susie's place. Just their dumb luck that Susie would win immunity. Boy was she fast in stacking those cards!

Also, did anyone else notice that when Bob was announced as the winner, Ken was the only one not applauding? Even Crystal was clapping. I’ve been cutting Ken a lot of slack because of his age, but it’s really time for him to grow up and quit being such a sore loser.

Thanks for hosting: Survivor was made for me when Sugar flipped Corinne the bird. Get real Connie, it is only a game.

As much as I dislike Sugar, Corinne’s comment to her was completely out of line. It was just like Sue from the first Survivor saying she’d leave Kelly to die in the desert.

Hey, I didn’t know you could do math! I’m impressed. (I became a “writer” for a reason.)

When Bob, Sugar and Susie were at the final tribal and had the opportunity to address the different accusations against them, I didn't think they really tried to explain their actions and win the jury over. There were a couple of times when Bob and Sugar could have said more that would have put a different spin on their game choices and they didn't even try. I was disappointed with that. Other than that final failure of words, I think those two played a really good game and deserved to be in the finals.

I liked that challenge (although I didn’t like who won). All the “run through an obstacle course and grab bags of puzzle pieces” challenges are getting kind of old. And it was also a change from the endurance or quiz challenges that were common at the ends of earlier seasons.

I agree, Susie won by luck, not skill. Bob and Matty were overly cautious in building their towers, and Sugar was too careless and her towers kept collapsing. Susie just won by default.

yes, it was inappropriate...but in terms of the watchability of the show, thank goodness there was FINALLY some real conflict. I wish they had shown more of the dislike between Corrine and Sugar. Seriously, it would have made the final showdown much more understandable.

“It was just like Sue from the first Survivor saying she’d leave Kelly to die in the desert.”

Which kind of makes my point. We remember that because it was pretty “in your face” and real conflict. I’m not sure why they edit out that kind of stuff.

Jill,
First of all, Thank you for taking on the hosting duties of the Survivor Thread. And might I say that in my humble opinion, you did a simply OUTSTANDING JOB!

Second, I was jumping out of my seat last night, when Bob was announced the winner.

Third, Sugar made up for a lot of her earlier mistakes, when she first masterminded Crystal's blindside and then again, by allowing Bob and Matty an even-up attempt at continuing on by forcing the tie. Matty blew it by not being able to get a fire going.

Finally, I was hoping that Matty's "Trust Fund Squandering" would have been brought out at the reunion show, but I guess Jeff had "bigger fish to fry." Like Corrine.

Anyway, thanks again and we'll talk to ya next month.

Cuz

Well, he is a national world gaming champion ... ya know. :-)I guess those world champions don’t like to loose too much. He never did say what game he’s a champion of.

Thanks. I just wish more people would post here. The Survivor Guatemala thread had over 2000 posts and this one has barely 400.

(hint hint to everyone out there)

Is it just me or did it seem like there were more puzzle challenges this season than ever before?

Yeah, Jill, you did alright...for a girl.
