There's room at the table for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.

A side of beef contains as many calories as an Olympic sized swimming pool filled with lettuce. Also, beef is a by-product of the dairy industry. Two head of cattle do not merely produce a couple thousand pounds of steak in their lifetime. They produce a couple hundred thousand gallons of milk and a couple thousand pounds of steak in their lifetime. Plus leather, gelatin, fertilizer, etc.
If the envirowackos were intellectually honest, they would ban the sale and transportation of green leafy vegetables for human consumption and demand that everyone eat fish and other sea creatures, because the amount of land resources needed to harvest those sources of food are minimal. In fact, the most environmentally friendly food source on the planet is WHALE MEAT.

Cool.
Today for lunch I had chicken, two kinds of beef, salmon and tuna. I could have had some pork loin, but I passed. I guess I won’t be getting any PETA award....

Hippy- "You know what??? Beef is causing Global Warming! They are destroying the rain forest to make room to raise more cattle! Plus the Cattles flatulence releases methane gas that causes more global warming! What are you doing about Global warming???? Ron White- "I'm eating the cows. But I'm only one man."

Another environmentally friendly source of protein is INSECTS and WORMS. If the eco-whackos want to save the planet, they should switch to a diet that is high in these easy-to-grow, protien rich food sources.

If we ever needed any more proof that socialists are anti-civilization, not ultra-moderns, here it is. They want to turn the clock back to before the agricultural revolution. So long, 10,000 years of human history.

Yah, sadly, this was a video on a family member’s facebook. Ah! I really want to tell her to switch to whale meat, insects, and worms. :) That probably wouldn’t be the best, don’t need family controversy! Haha

While visiting the Dark Continent a few years ago, I found myself in Uganda. Those of you old enough may remember Idi Amin, the President for Life of that nation. Idi was a cannibal and not the only one in that nation. There were actually supermarkets that sold meat for cannibals!
I happened to wander by one of those open air markets and noticed the prices on the wares:
Missionary, $1.00 a pound
Tourist, $1.50 a pound
Politician, $2.00 a pound
Vegetarian,$80.00 a pound
Though I was appalled by the spectacle, I couldn't help myself. I asked the proprietor why vegetarians we so expensive.
"Well, man, they are so full of sh!t, that it takes four days to clean one."

I’d become a vegetarian, but asparagus gives me gas, and I don’t want to contribute to Global Warming.
