Good Morning.
It appears a bi-partisan agreement to stabilize and rescue the financial markets has been reached, at least at the time of this posting: late Sunday night.
It remains to be seen whether the agreement will hold, what it'll cost the U.S. taxpayer, and how effective the measure will be...i.e. will it live up to the claims of its sponsors?
The President addresses the nation Monday, at 7:30 a.m. ET, before the markets open the new week.
I'm having GIGANTIC problems with this insanity of America getting ready to elect this demon and destroy itself from within.
Happy birthday, buddy!
My normal...take a parent to a doctor day off.
Dog, Happy Birthday and many returns of the day.
That’s a beautiful birthday pizza lysie baked for you. What a cook and what a birthday feast!
I am writing from Whitemarsh Township, the next town over from Plymputh, right this second. And I grew up in Norristown...;-))
Hello
I am just getting very, very depressed about this election.
And I don’t understand why the McCain Campaign threw Sarah Palin to the wolves and sent her to be interviewed by Witchy Couric.
I’m with you IG. It’s those stinkin polls. I thought we were not supposed to rely on them - yet.
Hubby and I may move to British Columbia if BO wins. (fat chance - at least not until he commands us to worship him.)

Tomorrow night will be huge for media ratings. Which is all that presidential elections are about anymore, actual leadership of America running a far-behind 2nd.
Anyway, I keep telling myself that I mustn’t let the media succeed in getting me down. I can’t imagine what it must be like to run a republican campaign in this day of communist driveby media. The abuse Palin has taken must have even seasoned male republican senators and congressmen blanching. She’s in my prayers.
The bailout is proceeding with not near enough free-market and conservative concessions. I did hear McCain outline specifically how he’d cut spending, while Ding Dong spoke in his usual platitudinal (is that a word?) generalities.
I am watching the Cubs play the Dodgers, LA is currently ahead. Our associate at the game, he a big Cub fan. It looks chilly there, everybody has a warm jacket on. I’ve half-frozen my patoot off more than once in Wrigley Field.
Oh, how loverly that pizza looks...I just had some soup. It that pizza had a few pineapples chunks on it, it would be perrrrfekt.
We’ll move to the Queen Charlotte Islands, I’m a member in good standing....I think...my family moved north to Alaska, before Alaska was, but I do still have relatives there.
I know that the main character is supposed to be representing him but I've been under the impression that it is played by MM. I've planned on NOT seeing it because I won't see any movie that MM has anything to do with.
I have since been told that MM has nothing to do with the film. So, which is it?
So - are your ancestors Alaskans?
So - are your ancestors Alaskans?
I cannot imagine that the REAL MM would profit from that movie.... Come to think of it, I seriously doubt he is IN the movie, althou I understand his name comes up occasionally.
I am not a movie goer, but that’s one I want to see.
Thank you for the info, that’s what I wanted to know.
Toby, I’m thinking of you and praying for you.
Absolutely MM is not in it. All of the actors in this are Republicans! John Voight was the “leader of the pack” on this movie. It is supposed to be hilarious!
Did we ever hear from Toby?
